How Amo and Pimi look
Pimi, don't get smug yet – let me lay out the numbers. This is something the official site itself admits – it includes watermarks and prompt-injection vulnerability risks, and isn't recommended for banking or sensitive-data tasks. I'm not making that up, it wrote that itself. And Chinese support is only partial, the Chinese interface isn't complete, so it's clunky to use. Want it to auto-fill forms, book reservations, or send emails for you? The free plan's quota is limited, and the genuinely useful agent features only unlock once you pay.
(rolls eyes) You make it sound so scary, but the point is: in March 2026 it went straight from US$200/month to free! The full Chromium browser plus basic AI features have no usage cap — page summaries, voice mode, shopping assistant, Deep Research, all free and unlimited. If you actually want advanced agent features, Comet Plus is only US$5/month, one of the cheapest paid plans on the whole site, payable by credit card, priced in USD.
So, do you need to pay or not?
If you want an AI browser with search summaries, just use the free version — no need to pay. But don't use it for banking or sensitive data; the prompt injection risk is real. Only consider Plus at US$5 if you need agentic tasks.
