AirMusic gives away almost everything on its free tier. Generation, covers, song extension, voice cloning, MP3 and WAV downloads — all of it, no watermark. That sounds generous until you hit the two walls the pricing page mentions but does not explain: your songs sit in cloud storage for 7 days, and you cannot use anything you make for commercial purposes. The paid plans fix both problems, but the cheapest one still leaves you without a commercial license. That is the trap worth understanding before you pay.

What the free tier actually hands you

The free tier starts with 10 credits. A credit is the unit AirMusic charges per generation task. The official pricing page, read directly on 2026-08-22, lists only the credit number. It does not spell out download limits or watermark rules — those details simply are not on the page.

What the page does confirm: the free tier includes generation, covers, song extension, voice cloning, and MP3/WAV downloads. No watermark. That is a wide feature set for a free plan, and it is the strongest argument for trying AirMusic before paying anything.

Two things are missing. Audio file upload is a paid feature — free users cannot bring their own audio in. And the generation queue is shared, which means at peak times you wait in line behind everyone else.

The bigger problem is storage. Free cloud storage keeps your songs for 7 days. After that, they are gone from the cloud. If you made something you liked, you have one week to download it or lose it. The official page does not say whether the 10 credits reset monthly or are a one-time grant. That question stays open.

Commercial use is not included on the free tier at all. The Commercial License is paid-plan only. So even though the free tier lets you download clean audio files, you cannot legally put them in a monetized video, a client project, or anything that earns money.

The paid plans and the pricing mess

Starter costs US$39.8 per month on the monthly tab, with no annual commitment. That gets you 300 credits per month, which AirMusic estimates at roughly 100 songs. It adds audio file upload and a dedicated queue — no more waiting behind free users. It does not include a commercial license.

Pro costs US$59.8 per month on the monthly tab, with 600 credits per month, estimated at roughly 200 songs. It includes everything in Starter plus the commercial license. If you need to sell what you make, Pro is the only plan that covers you.

Now the confusing part. At the time of our check on 2026-08-22, the site ran a countdown “WEEKEND SALE” with discounts up to 68% on yearly billing and 30% on monthly. Under that promotion, Starter showed US$19.9 per month on the monthly tab, and US$11.9 per month on the yearly tab, billed as US$142.8 per year. Pro showed US$29.9 per month on the monthly tab, and US$17.9 per month on the yearly tab, billed as US$214.8 per year.

Those are promotional prices, not list prices. The list prices are the ones we recorded: US$39.8 and US$59.8 per month. When the sale ends, the promotional numbers may disappear entirely. Anyone reading this after the sale should recheck the page rather than assume those discounted rates still exist.

There is one more inconsistency worth flagging. On the same page load, Pro also displayed a US$99.9 figure in another spot. That looks like a front-end rendering duplicate or a stacked promotion display glitch. We went with US$59.8 because it appeared in the same position as Starter’s price, and that position is the more reliable one. But the discrepancy means the page is not perfectly clean.

The yearly tab also shows different reference numbers than the monthly tab — US$37.2 for Starter and US$59.9 for Pro. Those are monthly-equivalent baselines for the annual view, not contradictions of the monthly list prices. The two tabs use different comparison bases.

Prices vary by country; we checked from Taiwan.

🔍 AMPM exclusive check

The official pricing page lists 10 credits for the free tier and stops there. It does not say whether those credits reset monthly or are granted once. It does not explain the 7-day cloud storage window in any detail. It does not state the watermark policy on the free tier at all — we confirmed no watermark from the feature list, but the page never says so directly.

The commercial license gap is the biggest thing the page underplays. Starter, at US$39.8 per month list price, still excludes commercial rights. A reader scanning the plan names might assume any paid plan unlocks commercial use. It does not. Only Pro does.

We also caught the Pro price display inconsistency described above. The page showed two different figures for the same plan in the same load. That is not a pricing decision — it is a rendering problem — but it means you should verify the number at checkout rather than trust the page.

Nothing else differed from the official page. Every credit count, storage window, and feature inclusion above matches what the page states, checked 2026-11-01.

☀️ AMO, the budget-minded cat

AMO, the budget-minded cat

Free is genuinely generous here, and I mean that. You get generation, covers, extension, voice cloning, and clean MP3/WAV downloads with no watermark. Most tools lock downloads or slap a watermark on free output. AirMusic does neither. For a hobbyist who wants to make songs for fun, the free tier covers the whole workflow.

The 10 credits are the real constraint. The page does not say if they reset, so plan for them being a one-time grant. Once they are gone, you either pay or stop. And the 7-day cloud window means you must download everything you want to keep, every time. Miss that window and the song is gone. That is a habit you have to build.

Is paying worth it? Starter at US$39.8 per month list price gives you 300 credits and a dedicated queue, but no commercial license. If you are not selling your music, that is a lot of money for queue priority and more credits. The promotional US$19.9 monthly or US$11.9 yearly-equivalent rate changes the math — but those are limited-time prices, not the real cost.

Pro at US$59.8 per month list price is the only plan with commercial rights. If you need to monetize, that is your floor. If you do not, the free tier plus disciplined downloading might carry you further than you expect.

The feature set is not the question. The question is whether the output holds up and whether the queue respects your time. On features, AirMusic delivers: generation, covers, extension, voice cloning, and lossless-format downloads on the free tier. That is a full production chain, not a demo.

The shared queue on free is the first real performance cost. At peak times you wait. Starter and Pro add a dedicated queue, which matters if you are generating repeatedly. For anyone doing volume work, that upgrade is not cosmetic.

Credits are the second cost. Starter gives 300 per month, roughly 100 songs by AirMusic’s own estimate. Pro gives 600, roughly 200 songs. If your workflow is iterative — generate, tweak, regenerate — you burn through credits faster than the song count suggests. Budget for that.

The 7-day storage window is a workflow problem, not a quality problem. It forces you to download and archive outside the tool. That is friction, and friction slows production.

The commercial license gap is the dealbreaker for professional use. Starter, even at US$39.8 per month, does not let you sell your output. Pro does. If you are a working creator, Pro is the only plan that does not leave you exposed.

Verdict: who should use it, who should skip it

Use the free tier if you make music for yourself. The feature set is wide, the downloads are clean, and the only real costs are 10 credits, a 7-day storage window, and no commercial rights. Download everything immediately and treat the credits as finite.

Skip Starter if you need to monetize. At US$39.8 per month list price, it still excludes the commercial license. You would be paying for credits and queue priority while still unable to sell your work.

Pay for Pro only if commercial use is the point. At US$59.8 per month list price, it is the only plan that includes the license. If the promotional rate is still live when you read this, verify it at checkout — the page showed inconsistent pricing during our check, and the sale is temporary.
