InVideo Pricing 2026: Now Per Seat, and Why Your Credits Burn Faster Than You Think

Updated 2026-09-25: InVideo redesigned its pricing page. The old Plus / Max / Generative / Elite tiers are gone, replaced by three per-seat plans — Starter, Plus and Max. This article has been rewritten from the 2026-09-25 official page; the old tier figures no longer apply.

InVideo started as a text-to-video tool and now positions itself closer to a single interface for calling many image and video models. As read on 2026-09-25 (Individual tab), all three plans are priced per seat, the cheapest is US$20 per seat per month, and no free plan is listed on the pricing page.

1. The three plans

Beyond credits, the differences listed on the page are:

• Models: Starter gets selected models only, and for Seedance video only 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini. Plus and Max get all models and all Seedance models (Seedance 2.5 up to 1080p, Seedance 2.0 up to 4K).
• Agents: Starter has Agent Two Lite only; Plus and Max have Lite, Pro and Ultra.
• Premium stock footage: 100 / 200 / 500 per month.
• Storage: 200 GB / 600 GB / 2,000 GB.
• Cost per credit: only Max is labelled “Lowest cost per credit.”

All three include the timeline editor, multiplayer editing, and professional color, audio and 3D tools.

2. The part that decides your real cost: how credits are consumed

From the official FAQ:

1. Credits work like currency for video creation, generative models and other features — downloading content does not consume them.
2. Generative models are priced differently: “All models available at their original API pricing.”
3. InVideo reserves the right to update credit costs at any time, without prior notice.
4. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month.

Point 2 is the one people underestimate. The page’s own references: a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.0 Fast video costs about 30 credits, a Nano Banana Pro image about 2.5. The page says Starter’s 400 credits are about 160 Nano Banana Pro images or about 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos. Newer, higher-resolution video models cost more per clip.

Put plainly: the subscription is not a cost ceiling. It behaves more like a prepaid balance, and how far it goes depends on which models you reach for. The page does state that timeline editing uses no credits.

3. What we saw but could not confirm (disclosed honestly)

• On 2026-09-24 the Max monthly card showed a limited-time 10% discount (US$135, renewing at US$150); the yearly view on 2026-09-25 showed US$100. Promotions change; check the checkout page.
• The comparison table lower on the page lists Max yearly as “US$101/month” while the plan card says US$100. We do not guess which is right; the checkout page is authoritative.
• The page also has Team plans and Business plans tabs; this article covers the Individual tab only.

4. Who this fits, and who should look elsewhere

• Just curious about text-to-video: no free plan is listed; the entry point is Starter at US$20 per seat per month. To experiment at zero cost, start with a tool that has a free tier.
• Creators or small marketing teams shipping weekly: Starter is limited to selected models and 400 credits go fast. To use every video model you start at Plus (US$60 monthly, US$50/month billed yearly).
• Cost-sensitive with uneven usage: the no-rollover rule matters. Credits unused in a quiet month simply expire.
• Teams: pricing is per seat — three people on Plus billed monthly is US$180 a month.
