Pictory Pricing 2026: Monthly Costs 69% More Than Annual — US$35 and US$59 Are the Same Plan

Pictory turns articles, scripts, decks and recordings into video. One thing on its pricing page is worth reading before you enter a card: the same Professional plan costs 69% more month-to-month than annually.

1. Three plans, two prices each

The page defaults to annual pricing (marked save up to 40%), with the monthly figure greyed out beside it:

Starter’s gap is US$4; Professional’s is US$24. If your plan was to “try a month first”, at the Professional tier that single month costs almost as much as two months of the annual plan.

Annual plans also include a consultation with a video-creation expert, listed at a US$210 value.

2. What each plan actually allows

Note the minutes are annual, not monthly. Starter’s 2,400/year works out to 200 minutes a month; Professional to 600.

3. What the AI credits convert to

Pictory does something most credit-based tools avoid — it publishes the conversion:

One comparison stands out: Starter’s 12.5 minutes of AI video per year is roughly one one-minute clip a month. If you are buying Pictory to generate video, that allowance runs dry fast — Starter suits editing existing footage, not generating from scratch.

Professional carries 10× the credits for 1.4× the annual price. That gap between the pricing curve and the allowance curve is the real inflection point in this lineup.

4. Where the features divide

• Starter: no watermark, basic AI tools, auto-sync of uploaded voiceovers.
• Professional adds: custom avatars, voice cloning, advanced AI tools, summarisation of long videos.
• Team adds: shared team workspace and asset collaboration, custom AI credits, Pictory Central interactive video hosting, AI-generated chapters, quizzes and knowledge checks, clickable CTAs, SCORM export for LMS delivery.
• Enterprise adds: SSO, dedicated success manager, expert consulting, uploaded asset indexing, custom templates.

Worth noting that no watermark starts at Starter — Pictory does not use watermark removal as an upsell into higher tiers.

5. Choosing

• Just testing: use the free trial buttons on each plan rather than paying month-to-month, especially at Professional.
• Mostly editing existing footage, under 200 minutes a month: Starter, annual, US$25.
• You want AI generation, avatars, voice cloning: Professional annual at US$35 — 10× the credits for US$10 more.
• Three or more people building training video needing SCORM: Team.
• Certain you only need one or two months: do the arithmetic first. Two months of Professional monthly (US$118) already exceeds a quarter of the annual plan’s yearly cost.
