[Verified] PostSyncer has no free plan, and Pro and Pro Plus now both cost US$49 a month

We read the PostSyncer pricing page ourselves, more than once, between early August and today. Two things stand out. First, there is no free plan, despite the word “Free” appearing on every plan card. Second, the middle and top tiers now carry the same monthly price, which makes one of them hard to justify. This piece covers what we actually saw, where the vendor page leaves gaps, and whether the money is worth it.

What “Start 7-day trial For Free” actually means

PostSyncer is a social media management tool. You connect several social accounts, write once, schedule everywhere, and let built-in AI draft text, images and video. The pricing page lists three plans: Starter, Pro and Pro Plus. Each card has a button reading “Start 7-day trial For Free” with the line “US$0.00 today - cancel anytime” underneath.

That is a trial, not a free tier. We searched the whole page, the full feature comparison table and the FAQ. There is no Free column anywhere. Once the seven days end, you either pay or you stop. The site does not say what happens to your connected accounts, scheduled posts or media at that point. That silence is the first gap between the marketing tone and the documented facts.

The cheapest way in after the trial is Starter at US$29 a month on monthly billing. The yearly toggle is labelled “Yearly Save 20%”, and the FAQ repeats the 20% claim. On yearly billing the page shows Starter at an average of US$24 a month. The site does not print a yearly total, so we will not either.

The three plans, in plain numbers

A few terms first. A “social account” is one connected profile, such as one Instagram page. A “workspace” is a separate container for a client or brand, with its own accounts and calendar. “AI credits” are the monthly allowance you spend on AI-generated text, images and video. “API” access means other software can push posts into PostSyncer automatically, and “MCP” is a newer standard that lets AI assistants do the same.

Here is what each plan includes, straight from the comparison table.

All three plans include unlimited scheduled posts and drafts, unlimited team members, an AI image and video generator, first-comment scheduling, an AI content agent, auto link insertion, X community posting, an auto caption generator, a content calendar, CRM management and blog-to-social conversion. The named AI models across all tiers are Veo 3, Sora 2 and Nano Banana Pro. Starter gets basic analytics and a basic unified comment inbox. Pro and Pro Plus get the advanced versions of both.

The daily API limit also has a per-platform cap: 10 posts per platform per day on Starter, 25 on Pro, 50 on Pro Plus. That detail is easy to miss and matters if you automate heavily into one network.

Extra workspaces cost US$19 a month each on any plan.

The Pro Plus price moved, and it changed the whole ladder

When we first read the page on 9 August, Pro Plus showed a struck-through US$99 with a promotional price of US$39 a month. On 22 August we checked again. The promotional price had risen to US$49. The struck-through US$99 was still there. Nothing on the page explains the change, gives an end date or lists conditions.

The result is that Pro and Pro Plus now cost the same US$49 on monthly billing. Pro Plus gives you twice the AI credits, twice the social accounts, one more workspace, double the daily API allowance and unlimited storage. On monthly billing there is no reason to choose Pro. This is the insight the vendor page will not spell out for you.

Yearly billing is murkier. The HTML source still shows Pro Plus on the yearly tab as US$99 per month struck through and US$39 per month as the offer. Pro’s yearly rate is also US$39 a month. If both numbers are current, the two plans are identical in price on yearly billing too. But the yearly tab carries no additional discount text for Pro Plus, and we could not confirm whether that US$39 is still live or a leftover. We will re-check and update. Until then, treat the yearly Pro Plus number as unverified.

☀️ AMO, the budget-minded cat

AMO’s question is always the same: can you get by without paying, and if not, what is the least you can spend?

Here the answer to the first part is no. Seven days at US$0.00 is a test drive, not a plan. If you post to social media every week, you will hit the end of the trial before you have learned the tool properly. AMO also dislikes that the site never says what happens on day eight. Do your scheduled posts stop? Does your media library lock? Nobody tells you before you connect your accounts.

So the real floor is Starter at US$29 a month, or US$24 a month on yearly billing. For that you get 10 social accounts, 1,000 AI credits, 50 GB of storage, unlimited team members and unlimited scheduled posts. For a solo creator with three or four profiles, that is generous. The unlimited team members part deserves a mention, because many rivals charge per seat, meaning per person who logs in. PostSyncer does not.

AMO’s concern is the workspace limit. Starter gives one workspace. If you manage even one client beside your own brand, you want a second, and that costs US$19 a month on top. At that point AMO would look hard at Pro Plus instead, because it already includes 3 workspaces and 30 accounts at US$49. The one-workspace ceiling is where Starter stops being cheap.

AMO’s advice: take the trial only when you have a real week of content ready to test, then decide between Starter and Pro Plus. Skip Pro entirely while the prices match.

🌙 PIMI, the performance-minded cat

PIMI cares whether the tool does the job well, and where the limits actually bite.

The headline feature set is broad for the price. Every tier gets the same AI models, listed as Veo 3, Sora 2 and Nano Banana Pro, so you are not paying extra to unlock better generation. The difference between tiers is quantity, not quality. Starter and Pro both stop at 1,000 AI credits a month. Pro Plus gives 2,000. If AI video is the reason you are here, the credit count is the number to watch, and the page does not say how many credits a single video costs. That is the second gap PIMI would want closed before committing.

Analytics and the unified comment inbox are “basic” on Starter and “advanced” on the other two. The page does not define the difference. PIMI’s rule: if you answer comments across several networks as part of your job, test the inbox during the trial and confirm whether the basic version is enough.

For automation, the API tiers are real. Starter is capped at 100 posts a day and 10 per platform, Pro at 250 and 25, Pro Plus at 500 and 50. A small agency pushing posts from its own system will hit 10 per platform on Starter fast. MCP access for AI assistants ships on all tiers, which is unusual and useful if you already drive tools from an assistant.

Storage is 50 GB on Starter, 100 GB on Pro and unlimited on Pro Plus. Video-heavy teams should not underestimate how quickly 50 GB fills.

PIMI’s verdict: the tool is capable at every tier, but the quotas that matter for serious use, credits, per-platform API limits and storage, all favour Pro Plus, and Pro Plus currently costs the same as Pro.

Verdict: who should use it, who should skip it

Use PostSyncer if you run several social accounts, want AI drafting and video built in, and can commit to at least US$29 a month after a seven-day test. Solo creators fit Starter. Teams and agencies should go straight to Pro Plus at US$49, since it beats Pro on every quota at the same monthly price.

Skip Pro while the two prices match. Skip the whole product if you need a permanent free tier, because there is none. And be cautious on yearly billing for Pro Plus until we confirm whether the US$39 monthly figure in the page source is still valid.

Take the trial with real content ready, watch your AI credit use over the week, and check the page again before you pay. The Pro Plus price has already changed once since August, with no notice.
