Repowise Pricing 2026: US$5 of That US$15 Plan Is Model Credit, So the Software Is Really US$10

Repowise indexes a codebase and produces health scores, architecture diagrams, an auto-rebuilding wiki, and MCP tools your agent can query. Its pricing page carries one design choice worth an article on its own: US$5 of the US$15 Pro plan is spendable model credit.

1. The three plans

Repowise frames it as one engine with three ways to operate it: self-host the open-source core, use the hosted plans, or scope an enterprise deployment. The page has a monthly/yearly toggle, with yearly marked as 20% off.

That star threshold is the one to notice: the free tier’s automatic writing is aimed at well-known projects. Your own small repo gets the index and the graphs, not the prose.

3. How the US$15 breaks down

Pro is described as AI-powered docs, chat and search with US$5/month of LLM credits included. Item by item:

So: you pay US$15, US$5 of it is a model-usage balance, and the software itself effectively costs US$10. The page also states that credits are denominated in real USD, you only pay for what you use, and deterministic features never consume credits.

That last clause carries more weight than it looks. Health scoring, dependency graphs, hotspots, ownership and dead-code analysis are not LLM-generated, so your US$5 is spent only on actual AI answers — a different philosophy from tools that meter every feature.

4. Teams: minimums and ceilings

Teams shows US$60/month, which is US$20/seat/month with a 3 seat minimum. It includes:

• 25 shared repos, pooled

• Private repos, or more than 10 AI answers a month: Pro. The real software cost is US$10, and unused top-up packs never expire.
• Three or more people sharing an index: Teams. A pooled balance is easier to manage than individual Pro seats.
• Self-hosted or air-gapped: Enterprise, or the open-source core.
