This does not make Max a trap. It means part of what you pay there is not buying credits. Max adds autonomous agents, extended thinking modes and unlimited capacity; Enterprise adds SLA, SCIM and BYOK governance.

So the correct read is:

Upgrading because you ran out of credits? Business is the sweet spot — the cheapest per credit, and it already includes unlimited users, API access, white-labelling and 1TB.
Upgrading for a specific capability? Ignore unit cost and judge the feature.
The move to watch is jumping to Max because credits ran short. You pay about 50% more per credit to acquire features you may never touch.

4. Read the free plan’s 6,000 credits carefully

The most misread part of Taskade’s free tier: those 6,000 credits are one-off and do not refill monthly.
