Teable Advertises 'Save 44%' Yearly — But Monthly Is Higher Than Our Last Check (Sept 2026)

Teable is a spreadsheet-shaped database, usually compared against Airtable. Its pricing page defaults to yearly rates with a Save 44% badge — the kind of layout where people misread an annual per-month figure as the monthly price.

We read the page (Cloud tab) with a rendering browser on 2026-09-06 and captured both billing cycles.

There is also an add-on: 10,000 automation runs plus 10,000 automated reports or notifications, at US$10/month yearly or US$12/month monthly, per space, requiring Pro or above.

In one line: monthly got more expensive, the annual discount got deeper. Good if you will commit for a year, worse if you wanted to pay month to month. We found no vendor announcement dating the change, so all we can say is that it happened between our August and September checks.

Where the free tier actually stops

Free is generous on features — AI chat, AI field, App builder, IM Bot, and every view type (grid, form, kanban, gallery, calendar). Three limits do the blocking:

1,000 rows per space — a space total; rows per individual table are listed as unlimited.
100 automation runs per month — notification or sync flows burn through that quickly.
Two weeks of history — both automation run history and row change history (Pro: one year; Business: three years for change history). This is the one that hurts when you need to trace something.

Who should upgrade

Nobody, yet if this is a personal tracker: 1,000 rows can last a year.
Pro once automations are real work: 100 runs a month will not cover it.
Business for permission control (authority matrix), SSO, custom app domains, or six-figure row counts.
Do the add-on maths first: if only your run count is short, the automation pack (US$10/space/month yearly) may beat upgrading every seat.

Let me go first. The free tier is stingy: 200 credits, 100 automations, 1,000 rows, 1GB of attachments — run a few workflows and you're already near empty. The platform only lists a web version; mobile support is still "pending individual verification," and Chinese support is only partial. What worries me most is the pricing page itself — the monthly/annual toggle is a JS component, and more than once we've caught ourselves reading it backwards; we only trust it after cross-checking against the official documentation repeatedly, which itself is a red flag. And if credits run out, you have to pay extra for the Credits Add-On.

Pimi Advantages

Why do you always pick out the bad parts? It has a genuine free tier! Pro is US$10/year and Business is US$20/seat/year billed annually, saving about 17% — that's not expensive at all for a no-code database. Business gives you SSO, permission matrices, and custom app domains — all the compliance boxes enterprises need — and both Pro and Business include AI chat and AI field. It even won Launch of the Day on Product Hunt with 459 votes — that's not a nobody product.

So, do you need to pay or not?

For a small team just testing the waters, the free plan is enough. If you actually need to run automation, then upgrade to Pro at US$10/year with annual billing. Enterprises needing SSO and permission control should go straight to Business. If mobile access or Chinese support matters to you, wait for the official site to fill those in first.
